Love and Death @ Walcot Chapel

I will be showing work in the Love and Death @ Walcot Chapel group exhibition as part of the Fringe Arts Bath festival from 22nd May to 7th June 2015. The exhibition is being curated by Geoff Dunlop and it promises to be a very interesting collection of work, by a very diverse range of artists dealing with death, memory, religion, loss and life. After an initial site visit to meet Geoff and some of the other artists involved I am feeling excited and inspired by the potential and the challenges ahead.
I will be showing two of my forest paintings from the This is Also Possible ForYou series as well as The Panda That Drinks From The Well Of The World which was created in Japan after visits to Temples and cemetaries there. I will also be creating a new work which will be a move in a new direction for me, taking the form of a large cairn in the chapel grounds. I have much to learn and many obstacles to overcome!
